This week I have been learning to use integers.
Integers are negative numbers.
The strategy I learnt is using hills and dales.
Hills are at the top and they are the positive numbers.
Dales are at the bottom and they are negative numbers.
Using the hills and dales strategy makes it easier to learn how to work with negative numbers.
See the example.
I am a year 10 student at Bay of Islands College in Kawakawa, New Zealand. This is a place where I share my learning.

self monitoring
This week we have been learning how to do self monitoring like strategy attacking, how to fix a strategy's , use some reading strategy. The easy part is strategy attacking. The hard part is nothing is challenging for me. I could improve my reading by stopping when the word doesn't make sence and stop and fix.
